Helen,

Lookout for Mondeo replacement due to launch early 2007.

Common floorpan with S Max.

Seen a picture, quite radical...........
Hi Paul, any idea about the specs. Kerbweight of mondeo now not high enough, wonder if the new one will be heavier. Helen.

Hi

Hi

We now have the S Max. Have not as yet towed with it. Had planned to but had to change plans due to work. Hubby finds the car easy to drive, he commutes several hundred miles each week, a mixture of A roads and motorway. If you use the 3 rows of seats there is not a huge amount of space in the boot, I'm comparing space to that in our Mondeo estate. We will not be using the 3rd row of seats when towing, so space in not really an issue. Kids love sitting in the back, be it in rows 2 or 3. So far we like the car. Hope this helps Annette

Hi Annette, we recently took the S Max and the new Galaxy for a test drive. The S Max isn't as comfortable as the galaxy but considering the difference in the price, I'm happy to go with the S Max. We have a galaxy at the moment so we too have noticed that the boot capacity is smaller but like you, we will not be using the 3rd row when towing. The 3rd row seats are a bit small unlike the galaxy which are full size but these will only be used on occasion as the children are not older and don't all come with us. Really, we're after the weight to tow our sterling. Have you hitched on yet, was wondering how low the hitch is to the ground as it is quite high with the galaxy so there is no dipping. Keep us posted and happy touring. Helen.

Hi

Hubby says he gets 45-50mph combined motorway and A roads on journeys to and from work. He drives a 2 litre diesel Titanium. Hope this helps Annette
