Hi,

Do you mean the current production 9-5, or the classic 95 from 30 years ago?

If it's a true 95, you're going to need to look in the owners handbook for kerb-weight and maximum braked trailer load. And if it's a 9-5 (from anything up to 10 years ago) then do the same thing.

Then confirm that the maximum all-up weight of the caravan is less than the car maximum braked trailer load, and if that is OK, then hopefully the maximum caravan weight will be around 85% of the car kerb-weight - which has a good chance for stability - but no idea about performance.

That dash between the 9 and the 5, or the absence, is quite important

Hi Rob thank you for your comments. A saab 95 estate 1999 vintage with 69,000 on the clock petrol. Looked up all the info in the hand book and it had 90% rating but I feel apprehensive about it as it is front wheel drive and is a heavy car.

But then what do females know about such things

Any further comments would be most welcome thank you so much

Nettie
