scenic plus poles probs or not?

Hi we have just brought a new senic plus porch awning which we

find great.But we have found two differences between the new plus awning and our old small scenic awning.Is the third pole

meant to fit under the two other poles ?Our old one has a cut

out in the seem but the new one has not.Also when we put the

third pole on i can only locate the right hand side then i have

to clip the front in then fit the left hand side. Our old one

you could fit the poles first then clip it home.It seems as it

the poles is to long and pulls the awning very thight.Has any

one else had this problem or is this normal? Many thanks Mark.

Hi. The third pole does pull the frame tight on mine, but not the top of the awning. (see thread on Scenic plus awning - water on roof).
