Hi all just bought myself a scenic porch awning & intend using it this weekend have any of you wise caravaners out there got any tips as the best way to put it up as I have heard one or two horror stories about the poles snapping & ripped canvas etc & certain ways to thread the poles in. Your help in this matter would be much appreciated

I have a scenic porch awning the best way is to thread both poles in from the bottom before trying to bend and fix the peg at the bottom in to them, if you just put one pole in and fix it in the bent position you will struggle getting the other pole in as you will have to bend it as you thread it through.

As for the third outer pole that's a dodel put in one side and just bend round and clip it on as you go.

All in all it should not take you much over 20 minuets to put up.

Just follow the instruction included with I did and had no problems at all
