Seafield caravan park , northumberland.

Hello

Has anyone been to this park.Just seen it on uk camp site.It looks very nice.Is it good for children?

Thanks Will

Will,

I have stayed on this site on a few occasions, the last being for a week in June06. Great site for kids and for touring Northumberland.

Only has about 20 touring pitches all of which are fully serviced and the remainder a large static park. Has a large kids play area and is only a stones throw from the beach.

Can be a bit pricey if you don't make use of the facilities such as access to the leisure pool. However from time to time they make special offers such as 20% off - may be worth asking.

Do you not mean Seaview? We stayed at Seaview in Spittal just outside of Berwick Upon Tweed. A lovely little site that is worth a visit. Easy access and great 'Seaviews'!

Seaview is a CC site.Best o' luck.

We've stayed at Seafield quite a few times, hiring statics though not tourers, and have always had a good holiday there. The beach is fantastic just a couple of miles away on the road to Bamburgh. You will have to park on the main road and walk over the sand dunes. There's a few shops on the main street and a couple of amusement arcades depending on how old your children are. Don't forget to try the fish and chips!

There is a new swimming pool at Seafield but we haven't tried that yet. We've just picked up our first tourer last weekend and will no doubt be going to Seafield later in the year as it's only and hour and a half away.

Hope this helps.
