Balquidder sits on a main road looks narrow(on disused rly stn.) never stayed there
Twenty shilling wood stayed there 10 years ago very nice good walks, had tv hook up as it had little reception
about1/2 mile west of Comrie village good hotels, shops.

Hmm yes had a wee jaunt out the other week Balquidder looked a little to run down for my liking, went along to Comrie and was well impressed with twenty shilling wood serviced pitch with water hook up, waste plumbed in hard standing and sat dish, £1050 for the season included 40 nights electric and storage at the end of season well impressed

We are on a seasonal pitch at Clayton Park, just outside St Andrews, this will be our 3rd season there. Lovely site 5 star, very friendly and well maintained, when I was up 'tother week there seemed to be a few empty pitches ( unusual ), a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Would think well worth a look.

Yes, quite pricey, but, I think a price worth paying for, as it's a lovely park. Set up last weekend, weather was fantastic again for erecting the awning. Looking forward to the weekends now. Your right, St Andrew's is a lovely area.

Any early update on Twenty Shilling Wood ? We are now looking for a different site due to circumstances beyond our control.

Can`t complain about twenty shilling wood, we have used the caravan a dozen times or so already this year
i think the fees were £1000 march till nov but that included on site storage for the winter months, also inclludes 40 nights electric
then its £4 night after that as long as guests abide by the rules you can let the van out to friends and family, its a nice quiet site toilet blocks are dated but clean and tidy hot water at all times, games room and walking distance to the nearest pub is about 15mins,
pitches are hard standing plumbed waste and most with sat tv, wake up to roe deer foxes rabbits and hares in abundance in the woods.
