can any one tell me what selectamark electronic tagging is ? is satalite tracking expensive and is it worth the money?what is the best security devises to fit on a new van? i want to protect my van so i am asking for advise from experienced caravaners
 
Hi Coljac - the best security is to make sure the van has no value if it's nicked. Use the usual deterrents of hitchlock & wheel clamp, plus a micro-dot invisible marking. We had ours done by Thiefbeaters who claim 100% recovery of stolen vans. All parts of the van are invisibly marked internally & the van is marked externally with T'beater's anti-theft warnings. This makes our van worthless to any crook. Satellite systems are very good, but I suspect most thieves will know how to disable them, and they're costly to subscribe to. T'beaters charge
