Hi, when can you find guidelines on the resale price of a van. We have a sterling eccles amethyst 2002 in exc condition but are unsure how much to sell it for. It has an ALKO 2004 stabiliser and wheel carrier. These were extras as they did not come with the 2002 versions. Any help would be brilliant. Helen

Helen, I am not an expert and what you get for it in the end may be down to luck as maximum depreciation is in the early years and private sales for costly vans can be difficult. You could look at the cost of a new one today and deduct say 30%. I read somewhere that one year old vans are hard to sell if the asking price is within
