Setting up for seasonal

This year we are giving a seasonal pitch a try. Not done this before. The pitch is booked and We are taking the van there in a couple of weeks. Any hints or tips about setting up and leaving the van. Thanks in advance.
BTW we have informed the insurance company

I would use a pair of these for under the axle to help with keeping the van level & the tyres just clear of the floor preventing flat spots.

I use mine over winter and when the van goes onto a pitch for the summer it will be put back onto them, a bit of faffing but takes less than 1/2 an hour to do.

The other thing is that the van will feel to be more stable as the direct weight of the van will be on the stands rather than on the tyres / suspension ...
