Agree Val, poor little kid. She isn't old enough to have evil thoughts and she had no say in who her parents are or how she is brought up. The problem is there are thousands of Shannons out there and this government doesn't help with it's policies of giving away money to those who aren't prepared to help themselves. They encourage drug taking, drunkeness and general loutish behaviour where it's preferable to have kids at 16 so you can have a house given you including the furnishings. Theres no encouragement for them to have respect for themselves and aim for a better life and take pride in working and providing for their families.

Just heard on 5 news that the mother knew along where Shannon was, it looks like a money scam.

I feel for the foster carer for that little girl. How you would manage to keep all the newspaper headlines and news reports away from her, goodness knows.
