Hi does anyboby tow with a shogun sports and if so could you tell me what they tow like please and what they are like on fuel(diesel)

Hi

I have a Shogun Sport 2.5TD Equipe and I pull a Lunar Lexon EW twin axle - approx 1600kg. Towing, I get 22-24 mpg depending on the roads. 22mpg on A roads and 24mpg on motorways. Touring, I get between 28 & 32mpg - again depending on the roads. I find the car a little bit underpowered (especially on A roads) and would benefit from being 'chipped' to give extra torque & power.
