Just checked Mitsubishi website they have a facility where you can request details of recalls, need to put in registration, mileage and VIN and they say they will provide information for a particular vehicle after they have checked

Quick update,

Took truck to main dealer yesterday for 8.30am took grandson for brekky up the road, back at the dealer at 9.25am and all done, No chain replacement required, and every thing else OK
There was no Cost to me, so happy days.

I have the 2010 version and mine WAS affected by the reall. All the work would be covered my Mitsubishi. When mine was inspected, they found no problem but they change the auto tensioner as a matter of course. I asked Mitsubishi direct if the part failed 12 months down the line without having ALL the work done, where would I stand.

There reply was that if the vehicle had been inspected and the book stamped, it would be covered against future failure.
