Should i fit shock absorbers?

I am considering fitting shock absorbers to our caravan, a Sprite Musketeer TD 2011. Would we benefit from improved towing ride quality and stability? Would the improvement, if any justify the price? Are there any other benefits to be had from fitting shockers?
