Shower etc

If you stop on a site with no ehu, will the shower and taps (pump) work on gas?

I have an inverter for the tv.

Sorry to sound a bit dim.

Lisa

Yes it does sound dim ;-)

The water pumps work from the battery and the water you heat by gas 🙂

But mores to the point, how did Diesel get on?

Thanks cris. Stopping on the showground at Worcs.

Is it ok to carry two gas bottles in the front locker?

Most caravans have spaces for two bottles in my experience.

SO YES!

You are only meant to carry two gas bottles in caravan lockers on Ferries so I assume that means two are fine as well. Our last Bailey had spaces for two smaller bottles and one 15 KG bottle.

Two 4.5 kg bottles will see us OK for 4 weeks in France for cooking and hot water, no heating of course ;-)

An inverter uses a lot of power. Ok for a short time but will flatten the battery quickly. It would be better to invest in a 12v TV

But watch the noseweight.
