Shower pressure falls to zero...

The caravan I have bought has a shower unit controlled by a pressure switch in an Alde water circulation system. Although the kitchen and washroom work fine with strong pressure, the shower pressure dies after about 20 seconds and falls to more or less zero. There's a trickle on the hot water side and nothing when it it turned to cold. Pressure switch seems OK and the pump is running so I am assuming some sort of blockage, pipe kink, or filter problem in the shower supply. I've checked shower head and flexible pipe. Leave it for half an hour and it starts up again fine, then fades. Any clues as to what the problem is and how to go about fixing. Appreciate any advice.

Have you tried running without the shower head on for a minute?
yes eddie, i did that, but didn't help. Looking at the water diagram in the handbook, I can only think there is some sort of kink in the shower supply line, since the other taps are fine. I theorise that the kink may let water build up to enable the shower to start OK but is then starved by the squeezed pipe. If it was a blockage or air lock, it would not work at all, would it??? But I'm no expert, and I've no idea how to gain access to the pipework behind the cubicle to look!! Thanks for your interest.

I mentioned the open shower head in case there was something in the pipe that moves along when the water is turned, and blocks the water.

The only way is to trace it back to where you know its OK

Best of luck
