shower room and tray

just bought a 15 year old caravan the inside of the van nice and clean bar the walls and shower tray in the shower room are realy gruby wots the best thing 2 paint them with ,,,thanks jimi,,,,

hi jimi, try cleaning them up with some sort of de-greaser stuff first. if you paint it, then you will always have the problem of it fading, peeling, blistering etc. there are loads of cleaners available which will make a huge difference to the plastic without doing it any harm, old fashioned sugar soap for one.

Just a word of caution, be careful what you use on the shower tray because some plastics can be affected by certain chemicals.

To avoid scratching the plastic surfaces it would be best to use a proprietary cleaner such as Fendox

correct parksy, thats why i said there are some that dont have any affect on plastic, you have to check first.

If you need to paint it DIY sheds sell PlastiKote spray paint which might do the trick,there are about 60 colours
