Shower Trays

W have just purchased our first second hand caravan (Swift 590 Conqueror 1999) and the shower tray is cracked. We were wondering if anyone has replaced the shower tray themselves and were looking to get an idea of how easy it is to fit a replacement, and can you give us any information, hints and tips, etc. Alternatively, can they be repaired.

Thanks Chris and Rachel. Any help much appreciated.

Under normal use there is no reason for a tray to crack but surprisingly cracked shower trays are often a sign of the van having had a blowout, or so I was told when mine cracked after one. The whole shower tray can be replaced.

Our shower tray cracked round the floor drain. I found a stainless steel puppy bowl in the Range shop that fitted exactly. I just cut the hole for the drain connection and and pressed it down into the hole on silicon sealer. It's so good it looks original.
