Had a great summer holiday in Spain but would like to go to Northern Italy next year.

Can anyone recommend a camp site for a twin axle, We'd like to be near a beach and would really like a private bathroom (We know there's not many sites have these).

This forum is a great place for getting this kind of information, so I will thank you very much.
 
Try Camping "Union Lido" at Cavallino on the Jessolo Peninsula. The best site I have stayed on - ever! Private beach on the Adriatic, a large site but you wouldn't know it. No private bathrooms but serviced ptiches. Takes, or did a couple of years ago, twin axles. Not cheap but worth every penny. Very convenient for visit to Venice.
