Cade's guide mentions 2 sites at Bardsey, don't know if this is close enough for you ?

Glenfield CP (01937 574657) and Moor Lodge CP (01937 572424) both in Blackmoor Lane.

Better still, use the CC site in Harrogate. It is behind Sainsbury's on the A661 Wetherby Road just SE of the town. You'll enjoy it much more than Leeds and you'll save a fortune NOT going to Harvey Nics. Hgte to Leeds Uni will take about 20-25 mins and is 12 miles (right side of town as well.)

Another option for you is the cc Beechwood Grange site, its not far off a main road, mostly dual carriageway which would take you to Leeds. A very nice site. Just avoid getting into and out of Leeds during rush hour, all routes are very busy.

I have stayed at the Moor Lodge site on a couple of occasions. Lovely site and reasonably close to Leeds although you do need your own transport.Reasonable distance for cycling but don,t recal any public transport dirctly from site.Our visits have always been for leasure but I did note some carvanners on the site who were working localy and using the site throughout the week as their main accomodation.
