Has anyone stayed at Les Courtilles De Lido at Moret Sur Loing near Fontainebleau would like information on this site good or bad. Looking to use as a base to visit Paris
 
We were there several years ago. Some train noise throughout the day, and less so at night (trains seem to go right around the site somehow). Nice big level pitches, grassy, with hedges between. Toilet blocks OK, but when we were there showers were operated by token, *(mine ran out of time, shut off, whilst I was still 'soaped up' - had to wrap self in towel and wash down in a basin - not pleasant!!!). Pool is OK - smallish, no frills. Moiret sur Loing is a nice little town, with some good restaurants. Near to Fontainbleau which is lovely, as is the forest around. Good striking distance of Paris - and a better site than some of the others at the same distance. (Just take more than one token to the shower blocks if they still operate on tokens!!!).
