Site near to Dunkerque.

I am travelling Norfolk Line via Dunkerque and will be looking fora site for 3 nights in September so the dogs can be gotten rid of their 'French fifis'. Any one know of a quite site within 30 minute drive of the town?

I agree with David about Chateau du Gandspette - and there's apparently a vet within about 500 metres, recommended by many of those staying at the site.

We have stayed at Chateau Gandspette, it was fine, but we are always on the lookout for other sites near to Dunkerque. Last Summer we tried Club Camping Perroquet which is near the Belgian border at Bray Dunes. The site is in the CC's "Caravan Europe" guide under Dunkerque. It was a good site and had the advantage of being on the coast - we like the sea. It was only about 30 mins from the port at Dunkerque. You can read our review here
