Sites in Aberdeenshire

Hi everyone,

I'm doing another 'County Counsel' feature for the magazine, this time about beautiful Aberdeenshire. Does anyone have any recommendations of sites, CLs and CSs in the area? Where's your favourite place to pitch up in the county?

Look like Aberdeen are is out of it, Lots of site around as I was looking for site whilst working in the area,
The Northern Lights of Old Aberdeen, are Home, too Grey and Cold nowadays.

We stayed at Stonehaven CMC and the private site at Fraserburgh last week of April on our way to the NC500 and found both sites to be welcoming and meeting our needs. Good sites to visit local points of interest. Multi-award winning chippy in Stonehaven and the lighthouse museum in Fraserburgh to mention two. Mike
