Sites Near Cadiz

We are looking for some February/March winter sun and favouring sites (preferably ACSI) around Cadiz with a site seeing stop near Seville. Have looked at La Aldea, El Rocio (Seville) and others around Cadiz. Any recommendations/advice as regards facilities and weather much appreciated. We are attracted to the National Park at Donana.

Hi Peter

We have used the El Rocio site and its much the most convenient spot for the Donana Park. The site is ok but I would recomend you do a supermarket shop before you get there as the shopping in the town is minimal and the nearest supermarket we found was at Almonte 10 miles away.

Also dont drive into the village itself as the roads are soft deep sand, just walk.

Many thanks for the reply. Yes we understand many of the locals ride horses and look like cowboys! We'll stock up at a supermarket if necessary. Thanks again
