Sites Near Roscoff

As this is our first time driving to France with our caravan;

I am nervous about driving on the right side of the

the road.To get a feel for driving in France we are

going to stay within a radius of ten to fifteen miles

of Roscoff for two nights to get used to the driving.Now

we are looking for sites to stay in for those two nights.

Then we hit south for three weeks for the rest of our

holiday.

Dan,

I understand your concern, but you will find that there is no real need to be worried. The French roads are much less congested than similar roads in the UK - except for the rush away from the ferry.

We have stayed at this site in Brittany - it's a bit further than your 15 mile - but it's truly great:

I tend to work on the basis Driver to the Kerb when driving in Europe. Obviously with a L/H drive it would be passenger to the Kerb.

I personally find it much easier to drive my own car in France than to drive a left-hand drive car abroad, which for some reason tends to do my head in. Perhaps I have a small brain. Any way, driving in France is an unalloyed joy compared with the UK. We were there last year for 9 weeks and 4000 miles.
