Can anyone recommend sites with fishing onsite? (river or lake). Anywhere in UK, but ideally in Cotswolds/Hereford or North Somerset area.

Thanks

Lois

Theres a couple around us LOIS.

Both sites are only a few miles from Hereford.

Look at.............

I believe this is an affiliated site to the C&CC now.

I've never stayed here but for reviews look here ....

Theres also...........

This is alongside the River Wye. If you have a rod licence you can buy a permit from reception. Joby, a member of this forum, goes there fishing. He's caught barbel into double figures and chub around 5lb.

I've spent a lot of time at this site and can vouch for it.

For reviews of this site look here ....

Lucksall caravan park with the river Wye running through has some of the best fishing in the british isles ,for the specimen or pleasure angler ,i have caught Barbel to 13LB chub of 7Lb but i am sure there have been larger fish caught ,at Belmont there are Carp to over 20Lb , Pike over 27Lb have been taken from the town stretch , and there is still a chance of catching a Salmon ,I allways ask for a riverside pitch , which are quite large ,and as the van is near by , i have an endless supply of tea ,you can also hire canoes or bikes from reception ,also out of season you can stay for 7 nights electric and awning for

Hi joby, I don't know if you are into fly-fishing but we have just returned from a C.C. CL near Evesham called Lenches Lakes.

It's a bit expensive for a CL but the site is lovely, really quiet with 2 lakes. I'm not sure of the fishing charges but the whole place covers 40 acres with some nice walks.

Try Warren Farm Park in Brean, its only 1/2 mile from Northam Farm Park mentioned earlier , though its cheaper tha NFP, you could fish at both sites, nobody is checked going to the lakes.
