Sitesin Belgium and Germany

We are thinking about travelling through Belgium and Germany next summer. I have found two sites very near the motorways, which we want to use for an overnight. They are: Camping de L'Orient near Tournai (Belgium) just off the A16 at junction 32, and in germany Camping Schwabenalb-Aichelberg at junction 58 near Goppingen S.E of Stuttgart just off the A8.

I would very much appreciate any comments about these sites if anyone has used them.

Thanks BarryB

I can't speak from experience but the Aichelberg campsite has a very poor rating in the camping guide that I have. It fell down badly on cleanliness. We stayed at 'Heidehof' near a place called Laichingen-Machtolsheim just a little further down the A8 off Exit 61 on our way back from Croatia this year and weren't disappointed. Very quiet and clean.

I also use this route a lot on our way to Croatia. Two other sites you may consider are Camping Buttelwoog at Dahn (near Pirmasens) or Tenda Park at Rosenheim.

Both are near to the motorway, have first rate facilities and a restaurant.
