Got a sky dish and tripod from Ebay, works great but takes quite a while to get it pointing in the right direction. Anyone got a simple easy to use solution?
 
buy a compass and either look up the location of the sat or next time you spend ages setting it up use the compass when complete and make a note of where to point it next time
 
I set up my satellite everytime I go away. The satellite Astra 2D is 28.2deg east of south. Its a lot easier if you use a sat finder. These can be bought for about
