sky tv in caravan

i got a dish,tripod.compass and sat finder from ray-sat in blackpool and just take my sky box and sky card from home it works fine, you get all the channels you get at home if you can get a strong signal. ive just been to meathop fell and didnt get all my channels,but down devon and at blackpool south get perfect picture.it just depends if there is anything between the line of sight from the satellite to the dish.
 
Jo-anne, depending on the make you want, you can pick up a second hand Sky digibox on eBay from a tenner and brand new dishes with all the fixings and cable for around
 
hi, don't go and buy a box from anywhere! take the one you have at home. then all you have to buy is a dish kit off ebay (4638818382 try this item no on ebay for example)

and i would recomend a compass to find the sat.

its as easy as pointing the dish to 152 degrees on the compass and make sure the vertical position is nearly vertical.now your there but don't turn anything on until everything is plugged in incluning the dish wire at the back of the box.

... i can set it all up in 5 mins now
 
Had an email from Maplin a week or so back, and they had mobile satelite gear at a BARGAIN price. Might be worth checking to see if they still have it.
