My understanding is that you'll need to double up as you have two receivers working at the same time - so twin/quad lnb and double cable - or just add a single dish/lnb/cable to your existing setup, it would look strange though.

Hi Dave

Twin / quad LNBs are cheaply available now as is double core coax cable. Two cables all in one.

Look back about 5 months and there's a post from a guy who gave me the correct steer.

Sky + works as simply as ordinary sky .

Cheers

Alan

Dave, you do need a double/quad LNB for Sky+ and double cable. Up untill two weeks ago I had Sky+ and used it all over Europe, however, I cancelled my Sky subscription and I can no longer use Sky+. It used to be that you could use a cancelled Sky+ card but Sky have stopped that. There may be a few lucky ones about who have cards that Sky have not got round to putting the clobbers on. I am not fussed as I cancelled Sky(they were much to expensive/greedy) and will buying the new Humax box(Free HD and +, no suscription) for Freesat(BBC) when it becomes available later in the year. I now have two redundant Sky+ boxes with cards. Anyone interested?

Good luck. JTS.

I've been using Sky+ in the van for a few years now and have a quad LNB on my stand by tripod mounted dish with a twin Invacom LNB on the roof mounted Maxview Semitronic

I haven't use the twin cable but it works just the same with two seperate coax lead ins
