Skylight blind

Hope someone can help. The spring in our skylight blind seems to have gone. the blind will no longer return. We have pulled the blind off the roof but can't seem to remove the actual blind. does anyone know how to solve this problem. It's a 2002 Sterling Eccles caravan. thanks in advance. Helen

If it is the standard 400x400 rooflight which has a fixed fly screen and hinges open from the side. You should see a panel at the end of the fly screen which unclips, you then have to memove the blind , retension the spring and reinsert it, I did it recently ant found that whilst it is a fidely job with the aid of long nose pliers was not to dificult.
