Yup, used it when it first came out several years ago when I was in Pakistan, clear as a bell and FOC using the hotel's wifi network to communicate with the UK and USA. Still use it for PC-to PC calls, and have used it frequently for PSTN calls when I can remember to set up the credit.
hi thanks jason and dave, how does it work etc. im not very technical you see. im not bothered if it can record but it would be nice so i can see and here my aunt and uncle in canada and my sons can see and here them . i have never seen them you see. they emigrated before i was born.
Working as a I.T.network and systems analyst/troubleshooter my work takes me all over the U.K. so I use skype to keep in contact with the wife and kids whilst working away.
Most often than not I use an Orange globetrotter data card and skype is usually ok with that too. Of course there are much better video conferencing systems available but are way too expensive for Mr average.

Hi Jo-anne, Sorry that it has taken a month to get arround to responding. I use a Logitech webcam which has a built in mike plus easy to use software. It is really simple to use and your pc speakers or headphones will complete the set-up.
