You may be able to record within your camera saftware.

I've never wantd to reciord a call so have never bothered myself.

I have camera and wireless skype phone with laptop + Skype out credit and Skype mobile. Also have Skype on my mobile phone as well.

Spoke to my wife in New Zealand earlier today, foc and like she was in the roon with me.

Yup, used it when it first came out several years ago when I was in Pakistan, clear as a bell and FOC using the hotel's wifi network to communicate with the UK and USA. Still use it for PC-to PC calls, and have used it frequently for PSTN calls when I can remember to set up the credit.

hi thanks jason and dave, how does it work etc. im not very technical you see. im not bothered if it can record but it would be nice so i can see and here my aunt and uncle in canada and my sons can see and here them . i have never seen them you see. they emigrated before i was born.

Hi jo-anne

Skype uses your broadband connection voip,you will need to download the free software from skype and get hold of a decent headset and microphone.

The person you will be speaking to will always need a broadband connection and the software,headset.

Its all free,tesco's did a phone that you just plugged into a usb port on your pc.

Mobile phones can also use skype but need to be grps.

Hi Joanne,

Working as a I.T.network and systems analyst/troubleshooter my work takes me all over the U.K. so I use skype to keep in contact with the wife and kids whilst working away.

Most often than not I use an Orange globetrotter data card and skype is usually ok with that too. Of course there are much better video conferencing systems available but are way too expensive for Mr average.

My advice would be to purchase a good quality Camera with built in microphone such as the Logitech pro 5000; costs about

Hi Jo-anne, Sorry that it has taken a month to get arround to responding. I use a Logitech webcam which has a built in mike plus easy to use software. It is really simple to use and your pc speakers or headphones will complete the set-up.
