Hi everyone

I know this question has been raised before but I cant find any answeres at the moment on the forum, Pleas give me your ideas to stop the mats that I have placed on top of the carpet (beige of all colours for a caravan!!) from moving about in the caravan, Ive tried that irtex non slip stuff but it doesnt work, hubby says we need to protect the carpet but I am going crazy having to keep re positioning the stupid mats all the time.

Thanks

Maddy

One sure way to solve the problem is a divorce but that may be a bit excessive..

The caravan carpets can be protected with a scotchguard treatment meaning the mats can go. Other than that your best option is a spiked gripper or some sort

Hi Maddy, I know exactly what you mean and it drives me mad too.

At the weekend I bought some non slip backing from Argos, it has helped but they are still migrating to the end of the van.

My next step is to buy some double sided carpet tape and stick the backing to the rugs and see if it makes any difference

Hi Maddy

I went to Dunelm and bought three of these (they are actually classed as bath mats but they don't have rubber underneath and are reversable). You can wash them in the washing machine. They don't move at all and are quite thick.
