Small car!!! But want a caraven HELP!!

Hey, I am very interested in starting out but only have a very small car(VW Lupo) and can only tow up to 800kg. I have been looking at an Compass Echo 340 (585kg). Can anyone give me any advice on the outfit or other recommended c'vans?? and what difficulties that I may encounter?!

I know that this is a tall order but I would be very greatful of any help!!

but there are serviceable ones up to 40 years old - they come up on ebay (usual warnings apply). They survive so well because of their unique tubular steel frame construction, and the pop-top means a lower roof height and better towing.

Consider a pop-top or folder, as these may be easier to tow behind a small car. Less windage and lower centre of gravity are aspects well worth considering.

Consider a different car. If you have the budget then a bigger car will give you more choice.

Thank you, I am considering changing my car, but still want a small ish one. I am considering a Polo or a 206 with either 1.6 pertol(206) or 1.9 dieasl(polo) what would you recommend. Or are there any alternatives that you would suggest?

I have a 1995 2 berth Bailey Beachcomber Club 350/2 that weighs just 650kg (unladen) 800kg max (laden). and it has all the features one would expect in a modern tourer. As regards to choice, I guess you are pretty limited but just trawl the internet, Iam sure you will find something suitable.
