we tow with a freelander but i need a small car for myself thinking of a citreon c1 any opinions or suggestions
 
My wife has had a Citroen C2 for over 4 years and we've been very happy with it. A friend has a C1 and they're also very pleased with it. The C1 is good value for money and is made in the same factory as the Toyota Aygo, so has had good reviews and has also proved itself to be very economical.

Check out the KIA Picanto. OK, not a car that you are going to boast about. But Barbara needed a car in a hurry, and they were offering "no deposit, at 0%, over 5 years", and a LONG warrantee. Drive away, bring it back in 12 months for a service.

She was very pleased with the car, apart it creeping up to 80mph when she wasn't looking. Not a bad word to say about it.
