small pin holes

I have a lot of small pin holes on the wallboards under the windows inside my caravan.There is no spongyness could these be where damp meters have been pressed in.

I have had the caravan for 2 years and they were there when i bought it.

yes i think they could be made by a damp meter.buy one yourself at homebase and check,about
