Hi there, my name is adam and i am doing a engineering project regarding caravans at newcastle university. There is not that much information about caravan dynamics in our library and so i was hoping that i could find out more by asking the experts, people who reguarly use caravans.

The main thing i would like to know is, what are the usual causes and conditions that make a caravan "snake". Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Adam,

Good luck with your final year project, I hope that you have found this reference already:

A couple of good references have already been mentioned. If you have further specific questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with me. You can send an email to the moderator of this forum (pcvforum@templenet.co.uk) with a request to forward it on to me. I am a vehicle dynamics and chassis engineer and you will see that quite a lot of contributions on the subject in this forum bear my signature.
