Snapped pressure release valve

Hi all,

wonder if you could help me please? After a broken micrswich meant I had to buy and fit a new shower, when testing it out I realised my water heater wasn’t working on gas. Googling and investigating led me to the conclusion that there was a leak from the pressure valve. I decided to replace the valve and the water release plug thingy.
Here’s the issue, the leaking water has caused a buildup of lime scale and when I tried to unscrew it the valve snapped off and the screw bit is stuck in the pipe. I’ve no idea how to get it out, I’ve tried screwdrivers to try and twist it, gently hammering in a drill bit to turn twist it out. I’ve sprayed WD40 to see if that will loosen it but nothing I try is working. Can anyone make any more suggestions please? TIA

These heaters are very fragile now and need someone who knows exactly what they are doing to get the old part out.
Spraying with WD40 is the last thing you should have done, in fact never have done !!

I suggest getting a mobile engineer to sort it out for you.
