Can someone start from the beginning ie:- switch on the machine etc.

I find it is easier to use this site http://picsplace.to/ first make your pictures the right size using a photo editing program about 380 wide by 285 high. Then upload them to the above site. Once it has uploaded look down the page to were it says html code:copy and paste this straight into the reply window of PC forum and type in any comment you want to make, submit and the picture should apear.

I have pictures saved on computer can I use these?

or do I have to go somewhere else?

no smiley, you cannot use pics stored on your puter. They have to be pics from the net, have you got any online photo albums, if not go to www.putfile.com, register and upload your pics there. You can then use those pics on here. Hope that makes sense.
