So what have people been using while abroad now.

Have you stayed with nationwide using debit/credit card?

or have youfound a new card which is better/

or taking unseen amounts of cash?
 
We take all the euros that we need and split them into different envelopes and hide some in the van and some in the car. We try to get the euros throughout the year so by the time the summer hol is here we have plenty. We take the c card for emergencies only.
