Solar Panel Battery Chargers

Hi,

Thinking of investing in a Solar Panel Battery Charger for the caravan while it is in storage. Does anyone have any information as to how good they are ( ie will it put in more than the alarm takes out ?)Weather depending I suppose, and perhaps the best one's to buy ?

I've got one of those little ones - approximately a foot long by about four inches wide. It cost me about ten quid from Maplins (they're normally about twenty).

I rang a company who specialise in solar panels and asked them their advice. He said that the one I've got will maintain a battery at the level it's at. It won't give it any boost, but it will stop it from going flat.

That's just what I want!
