Solar panel help

I currently have a solar panel on my motorhome and want to fit another next to it, can anybody tell me if i can just join the positive and negative wires together on the roof or will i need to run the wires from the second panel straight to the regulator, any help would be greatly appreciated, steve
 
Solar panels generate electricity so you need to be careful when joining wires! The panels must be run in Parallel so you need to join red to red and black to black NEVER red to black or you will totallly fry both the panels, its really best if you get your local auto-electrician to sort this maybe you will need an additional or bigger control box to handle the extra current, better safe than poor!
