Recently bought a Solar Panel. Can I connect to the battery without disconnecting the Battery from the Caravan to keep the battery topped up whilst on site.

I would not use it if you have hookup though as it and the on-board charger might work against each other.

Before someone says that is a stupid answer I am wondering if Bryan is coming from the green angle and wanting to cut down on overall electricity use thus reducing carbon footprint.

If this is the case perhaps it would be better used running the coolbox or charging a separate battery for the TV etc.
