Sorento Front Parking Sensors Not Working

Hi everyone
Having driven the Kia through a ford (the watery type, not the car!), the front parking sensors have stopped working. I can only assume it's a fuse as they've all stopped working - any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it? They're not mentioned in the handbook unfortunately.
Any suggestions, much appreciated,
Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian
They are an after market fit. Mine came from here http://www.parkingsensors.co.uk/
They work on radar. The four sensors all plug into the "brain box". This can be fitted anywhere. Best to trace the sensor wires back behind the bumper to see where they go. The power feed and earth feed to the box can then be traced and yes there should be a fuse in line which is only live when the ignition is switched on. Check the earth wire hasn't become dislodged .

Brian,
You have not mentioned if you have rear sensors fitted or if they too have stopped working. If the fault lies with just the fronts it is possible the water has entered the seal at the back of the sensor and damaged the sensors

At least now you can regain your parking skills without listening to any annoying beeps.

evening all
the car has both front and rear sensors. the paperwork in the car is all Kia branded for the sensors, so I dont think they're aftermarket(?). only the front dont work, so I think I'll need to trace the wiring and see if there is a fuse somewhere. They've all stopped working rather than just 1 or 2, so time to scrape my skin off and give it a go!!
cheers
Brian
