southern ireland touring

Hi,has anyone been to southern ireland and recommend any good sites,preferably next to water as we have an inflatable rib.we have booked the rosyth/belfast ferry and plan to travel down the west coast.

You'll be hard pressed to get closer to water and you have seals resting on the rocks alongside the site.

There is also another site on the southern tip of the Ring of Kerry right next to a golden beach but I can't remember the name.

Beautiful Kerry, if only it was a little warmer and dryer we would live there!
