Just returned from Southport C.C. site again.
We were there at the end of May as they opened the new extension.
Great site, plenty to do and great wardens, friendly and very helpful
Old toilet/shower block a little tired but it's being re-furbished in October.
A tip to bear in mind if visiting is beware of the bunnies.
We had a guy line on our new air awning chomped through and when packing to return found they'd managed to chomp chunks out of our supply cable.
So if you go try and lift your cable out of the grass if possible, these bunnies can be shocking.

Also recently visited Southport site. Agree with Sedo's comments. No problem with bunnies, but did notice a couple of notices warning about bike thefts and advising care with securing them. 🙁 There are a couple of public paths across the site so easy access and escape! Shame as it is a good site for easy (level) cycling. Forewarned is forearmed!
