Southport--C.L. or Private Site.

Due to Southport C.C. site being booked up every weekend in April/May, could anyone please recommend a C.L. with Electric, Loo and Shower near to Southport.
Or a private site near to Southport. Due to the fact i will be house hunting i need to stay for at least 10 days.

Willowbank Caravan Park just outside Southport is a decent site and very easily accesable from the motorway network and just off the Formby By-pass. Stayed here last year but it was for a wedding so we weren't in the park long and didn't use the facilities.

As with a lot of other CC sites: if you ask Thurs, or Fri, you will probably find that there is room at the house.

Thanks to Big s for Willow Caravan site. I have just realised it is next to the Red Squirrel sanctuary which we visit when in Southport.
Thanks to Wigandiver. Getting a site booked for at least 10 nights is a must, therefore cannot chance a late booking at the C.C. site.

Formby point is also a nice little camp site 10 mins from southport,all hard standing unless you want to get under the pine trees,right on the sand dunes.oh and did I mention cheap
