Southwold

Am looking for a good site near Southwold.

We are familiar with the one near the harbour but wonder if there are any others nearby which others could recommend for a wrinkly couple...

Whitehouse Beach, Kessingland.

It's the usual CC standard. The site is split in two with a lane running between it. One part is next to the pebble beach in two rows although the front row cannot erect awnings.

I believe you can book the beachside pitches although we got one without booking.

If you are members of the Caravan & Camping Club can recommend a CS at Reydon which is just outside Southwold. We stayed there for a few days this summer and the couple who own it were very pleasant, helpful people I believe they have only just started being a CS. It's within walking distance of Southwold (about 20 mins), flat level field with electric hook-up.
