Hi,

Has anyone tried one of the above awnings ?

If so how are getting on with it ?

We saw one on display at the weekend ( Lawns Show ) and were quite impressed. The bulk of the awning remains in a bag on the awning rail whilst in transit.

Also, who sells them ( at competitive prices ! ) ?

Bought one last week and going to try it this weekend.

We bought on earlier this year. We previously used a Scenic+ but didn't like the fact that the horizontal support pole dug into the caravan, even with cut-down rubber stoppers. This was the main attraction for us, plus the extra room and price.

We quickly discarded the child-like guides and fitted the storm ones supplied and this helps tension the awning far better. Trial and error with all porch awnings, but we get a reasonablly tight fit. It does blow about more than the Scenic which you would expect, but it has remained in place in windy and wet weather with no problems.

We didn't like the prospect of leaving it on the 'van and take it out of the rail each time. Still, from start to full erection, it only takes 15-20 minutes without rushing. Packing away is simple too and wnen wet, we put it in the shower then dry it our at home.
