Sorry to mention the "C" word and it's only July but we are thinking of spending the festive season travelling down to southern Spain over a period of about 3 weeks including travel time there and back via Eurotunnel, anyone else done it and how was it for you?
 
Hi,

Yes we did it last year and start this year on the 24th Dec with 13.45 ferry to Calais. We use the Camping & Caravan overnight stops which mean around 275 miles a day unless you miss a stop if your keen to get down faster. We will take 6 days from Lincolnshire to La Manga then Portugal and home via Bilbao.
