Spam in Technical?

I find it strange that the guy was able to find a post which goes back to 2004, I wish that I could do that but the 'Dr Gary' who the o.p. is referring to is a well respected and extremely helpful member of our forum, Gary from Arc Systems.
Gary wouldn't post spam to any internet forum and he has often gone out of his way to offer help and advice to members of this and other forums so the request is genuine even if it's a bit of a long shot after 7 years

I've no doubt that Gary (who was once known as 'Dr Gary') will answer soon, he was on the forum very recently trying to help someone with a thermostat problem.
